Possibilities

Next to giving concerts, there are other possibilities that the association has to offer. Without members there would not be an association, so here you can find information about how to become a member. If you don’t play an instrument but would like to support our association you can become a benefactor. And when you are looking for a musical touch to an event, there are multiple ensembles and a marching band to fulfil your wishes.

Become a member

It is good to see that you are interested in becoming a member of SHOT! At this website you have gotten an image of our association, but you are very welcome to visit (one of) our rehearsals. At the start of September and February we have so called open rehearsals, but you are also welcome to visit any other day. It is useful to let the board know that you are coming so that there is the right sheet music for you. When you decide to join the orchestra, you can get a form from the secretary. Our rehearsals are Thursdays from 8 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. in the Audiozaal in the Vrijhof.

Become a benefactor

The organization of multiple concerts and activities is partly made possible by the financial support of benefactora. Do you want to support our association and stay informed about our activities? Become a benefactor! This will cost €20,- a year and of course you get something back. A newsletter will keep you posted on our activities, for all concerts in the Vrijhof building you get two tickets for free and you can receive our association magazine, called SHOT-news, on paper or digitally. In this way, you can support and stay up-to-date with the association. Do you want more information about how to be a supporter? After a concert you can get a form or you can send an email to the treasurer.

Ensemble/Tohuwabohu

An ensemble consists of a small group of musicians from the orchestra who can offer a musical addition to your party or any other event. In consultation can be chosen for a flute, clarinet or copper quartet. The costs for hiring an ensemble are dependent on the duration of the performance. For more information or a reservation, you can take a look at the ensemble page.
Next to the ensembles, SHOT has her own marching band called Tohuwabohu. Take a look at the Tohuwabohu page for more information about the band and bookings.
